My first anger management class
This is my second week interning for Daybreak Counseling Services and I am truly pleased with what I see and what I have learned. I have had the experience of sitting with one of the instructors as well as the owner while they teach. In my observation I see people who have been ordered to attend the classes as well as walk in clients sit and learn together how to control their anger and understand their anger. What
I loved most from the moment I entered the class was that the class is a very friendly welcoming environment where people are free to ask questions, and interact with the instructor as well as one another. I like the fact that every class is different in what you learn and that each instructor has a different way teaching but each way is so effective. I have seen people who come in a little annoyed that they have to attend the class walk out smiling. This class is a tool for everyone who wants to learn how to manage emotions and behaviors. As I learn how to teach the class I am also learning how to improve myself and manage my stress level with the many demands and expectations in my daily life.
